GlobalStars stimulating market-oriented R&D with partners outside of Europe
Two open calls: India (One Health) and Brazil (all technology and applications areas)
Are you currently developing technology for new products, processes or services? And do you collaborate with partners outside the EU during the development? Then GlobalStars might be interesting for you.
GlobalStars was initiated by the EUREKA network. In this initiative, multiple EUREKA countries collectively engage with innovative economies outside the network. GlobalStars is destined to reach all organisations in a EUREKA member country who execute market driven R&D. They receive financial support for their projects from the national government of their country.
Through GlobalStars, the Ministry of Economic Affairs & Climate Policy stimulates Dutch industry and research institutes to execute market driven R&D with partners from innovative economies outside the EU. The aim is to realise economic growth and to find solutions to economic, strategic and societal issues.
Each new GlobalStars call will focus on an innovate economy outside of the EU. Within the call the Dutch government, in collaboration with one or more Eureka countries, asks the Dutch industry to jointly submit a project proposal together with one or more organisations from a predetermined innovative economy. The innovative economy can be a country or a region within a country. When this requirement is met, other organisations like knowledge institutions can participate as a partner. Financial support for the project partners is possible if they meet the terms and conditions of their own funding organisations. In the Netherlands the funding organisation is the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO.nl).
