Lots of partnering at the Holland Pavilion at MEDICA 2018

Meet the Dutch at MEDICA

This year the largest trade fair for the medical industry took place from 12 to 15 November at the Düsseldorf Messe. “Nowhere else in the world will you find the entire process chain of innovations for the development, manufacture and marketing of medical devices, products, instruments and high-tech solutions presented in such a seamless manner and broached in hundreds of speeches by renowned experts”, said Wolfram Diener, CEO of Messe Düsseldorf.

The 29 Dutch LSH organisations were eager to showcase their smart solutions to 120,000 visitors from 155 countries at the 8th edition of the Holland Pavilion. The globally recognisable branding of the Holland Pavilion led many visitors and potential partners to the orange corner in Hall 15. Like other country pavilions in Hall 15, the participating Dutch companies were visited by a wide range of international medical professionals.

Rene Mijs, CEO of IMS Medical: “MEDICA is also the perfect opportunity to meet partners that are selling in different countries. Without MEDICA, it would be very hard to get into contact and maintain the contact with our partners.”

To further support all network activities, Task Force Health Care organised, in cooperation with NBSO Stuttgart, an interactive programme open to visitors and exhibitors with workshops about Smart solutions from Holland & Washington State, Doing business in Germany, Infection prevention roundtable with experts (opening by Bert de Wilde - Head Of Economic Department, Dutch Embassy Berlin) and eHealth in Germany.

To sum up a successful week of creating new partnerships and connecting the right people a 'Meet the Dutch' networking party was held on Thursday.
