Dutch Life Sciences Conference

The foremost life sciences business network event in the Netherlands

With more than 450 life sciences companies the Dutch Life Sciences sector has doubled in size during the last decades. About 380 Dutch life sciences products are currently in the clinical pipeline and in 2015 a record of private investments were made in the sector. Together with a very strong scientific background it makes the Dutch industry a major European player with great economic- and societal impact. The Dutch Life Sciences conference is hosted by organisations and companies whose mission is to help realize the further development and growth of the Dutch life sciences industry.

The 14th edition of the Dutch Life Sciences conference will take place at the Leiden Bio Science Park on November 29th, 2018. The goal of the conference is to inspire and promote an open exchange of information including trends and developments in the industry.

The programme consists of plenary sessions and workshops, an investors forum, active networking possibilities and an information market. In addition, we will celebrate the 10 year anniversary of LifeSciences@Work and the 20th edition of the Venture Challenge!

The GIF facilitates private capital match with promising investment-ready biomed and healthcare start-ups, scale-ups and tech transfer opportunities.The investor forum offers an excellent platform for leading VCs and entrepreneurs and CEOs of innovative companies to meet each other, to discuss investment opportunities, to expand and to strengthen their business network for future partnerships.

Innovation Expo 2018 - Global Challenges, Dutch Solutions

Registration for the Innovation Expo 2018 is now open!

October 4th 2018 will be the day: the RDM Submarine Wharf in Rotterdam South will be transformed into one big Living Lab! Experience, view, and be a part of the more than 150 innovations at the Innovation Expo, on the RDM grounds, the number one innovation hot spot in the port of Rotterdam.

Taking innovations further, realising breakthroughs, and thus contributing to the social challenges we are facing in our country and in the world, that is the ambition of the Innovation Expo 2018. With this biennial event, the government provides the business community, research institutes, NGO’s, and government bodies a platform to bring innovations into the limelight before a broad national and international audience.

During the IE2018, in addition to experiencing high-profile innovations, you will make contact with the innovation network of investors, businesses, and policymakers. Become inspired during one of the more than 40 sessions.
